Slackware Current eXtended Desktop (SCXD)
Slackware Current eXtended Desktop isn't a next Linux distribution. It's Polish project, which purpose is enriching Slackware Current (developing version of Slackware Linux) with packages. Most of those can be found at Slacky or LinuxPackages, however usually aren't quite good and leaves much to desire. Above all, aren't compiled for Current. Our ones are more professional, SlackBuilds - more thought over.
SCXD has in presumption to complete Slackware Linux with packages destined for desktop. We rather avoid building these, which are already in official repository of Slackware Linux.
Compiling packages under Slackware Current doesn't mean, those wouldn't work on other versions of this system. There can, of course, occure some, but generally most should work on latest stable version.
